Need a lift?

We provide the vehicle lift solutions you need to take your mobility with you — anywhere you go.

Vehicle Lifts

At Mobility Equipment Recyclers we understand that it can be difficult to use your mobility device in the community; wheelchairs and scooters are often bulky and heavy, making them impossible to transport in a regular vehicle, but adaptive wheelchair vans are expensive and out of many customers' reach. To address this challenge we offer a variety of solutions to bridge the gap between independence and accessible transportation. Discover how our range of lifts empower users to get out and about with their mobility devices in tow!

Which type of vehicle lift will work best for you?

Interior Hoist Lifts

Interior hoist lifts are mounted in the vehicle’s cargo area with a hoist mechanism that swings out to lift and stow the mobility device inside the vehicle.

In some cases these lifts may be compatible with smaller vehicles, but generally interior hoist lifts are ideal for vehicles with ample cargo space like a van or SUV.

To use a hybrid vehicle lift, you will need to be able to:

  • walk from the front to the back of your vehicle
  • stand for up to three minutes while the lift operates
  • have enough hand strength to maneuver the device
  • bend, kneel, and balance while attaching the docking device
  • apply pressure to hold down a button on the handheld control
  • guide the mobility device into the vehicle

Benefits of an Interior Hoist Lift

  • Compact design
  • Powered opperation
  • Vehicle-specific design
  • Doesn't interfere with seating

Hybrid Lifts

Hybrid lifts are mounted in the trunk area. They move out and down, allowing you to move your mobility device onto the platform. It’s then lifted automatically into the vehicle for transport.

Hybrid vehicle wheelchair lifts are extremely convenient and are especially useful in areas with harsh weather conditions. A hybrid wheelchair lift is ideal for minivans, SUV's, and smaller crossovers.

To use a hybrid vehicle lift, you will need to be able to:

  • Walk from the front to the back of your vehicle
  • Stand for up to 3 minutes while the lift operates
  • Transport the mobility device on and off the platform
  • Apply pressure with your hands to hold down a control

This type of lift is attached to the vehicle by means of a hitch, lowering down a platform which secures and carries a manual chair, scooter, or powerchair with ease.
